Annabel Kaplan, PhD, BCBA-D
Clinical Director, Founder & Owner
Annabel Kaplan is the founder and clinical director of Common Ground Learning. She received her BS in psychology from Florida State University, MS in special education from Hunter College in New York City, and PhD in applied behavior analysis (ABA) from Endicott College. She became a board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA) in 2012. Her research interests include quality and engagement within direct therapy sessions. Annabel has over 20 years of experience successfully supporting children with autism and related disabilities in making meaningful gains across home, clinic, community, and educational settings. She lives in Boise, ID with her husband, Nick, and two daughters.
Jessica Kaufman,
MEd, BCBA
Behavior Analyst
Clinical Manager
Jessica Kaufman earned her Bachelor's degree in English in 2015 from Rollins College in Winter Park, FL. She was accepted into Teach for America’s first cohort in Idaho. Jessica taught 7th grade English for two years as a Teach for America corps member. During her tenure, she realized that not only did she love working with kids, but she most enjoyed working with kids with special needs and behavioral challenges. After consulting with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst for a student while teaching 9th grade in Seattle, WA, Jessica chose to move back to Boise and pursue her masters in Applied Behavior Analysis at Arizona State University while working as a behavior interventionist and then a registered behavior technician in an autism center. Jessica earned her Board Certified Behavior Analyst Credential in April of 2024. Jessica has worked with learners of all ages and is passionate about ensuring all kids who need it have access to ABA services. In her downtime, Jessica enjoys spending time with her partner, 4 kids, and three big dogs, reading, and going on road trips to see beautiful places.
Rebeka Jackson, MS Ed, BCBA
Behavior Analyst
Rebeka Jackson is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst dedicated to supporting individuals and families through evidence‑based, compassionate care. Her academic and professional journey reflects a deep commitment to understanding human behavior and improving the quality of life through applied behavior analysis.
Rebeka began her studies at Montana State University, where she explored Cell Biology and Neuroscience, Genetics, and Psychological Sciences. She graduated in December 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychological Sciences, laying a strong scientific foundation for her future work in behavioral health.
In November 2022, Rebeka started her career as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in Kalispell, Montana. She later relocated to Idaho, continuing her work as an RBT in Boise and expanding her hands‑on experience supporting children and families across diverse settings.
Driven to advance her expertise, Rebeka earned her Master of Science in Special Education with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of North Dakota in May 2025. Shortly after, she achieved her Board Certified assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) credential in July 2025 and went on to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in October 2025.
Rebeka brings a blend of scientific knowledge, practical experience, and genuine care to every client she serves. She is passionate about creating meaningful, individualized interventions that empower growth and independence.
Outside of her professional work, Rebeka enjoys spending her free time hiking, camping, relaxing with a good TV show, reading, or simply being with her husband, two children, and their pets.
Sammi Manncino, MS, BCBA
Sammi Mancino is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst whose work is grounded in compassion, connection, and a genuine passion for helping others thrive. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Idaho State University before pursuing her Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis with an emphasis in Autism at Ball State University. Over the past four years, Sammi has worked within the field of ABA, supporting individuals across the lifespan and developing a deep appreciation for the unique strengths and needs of every client. She is passionate about creating meaningful, individualized support that builds confidence, independence, and lasting growth. Her approach combines evidence-based practices with warmth, patience, and a strong belief in the power of positive relationships. Sammi is especially driven by the opportunity to make a lasting impact not only in the lives of her clients, but also within the families and communities that support them. She strives to create environments where individuals feel understood, empowered, and confident in who they are. When she’s not working with clients, Sammi can usually be found chasing sunshine outdoors with her two puppies, finding new adventures in nature, or getting her hands covered in clay while creating pottery pieces.
